There are certainly men and women out there who can do a much better job of describing the Bible than I can. They know a lot more about it than I do. But I have studied and read its teachings almost in its entirety. (There are still a few Old Testament prophets I have yet to make it through.) And the value of this book and its teachings in my life is equaled only by the second witness of Jesus Christ.
The Bible teaches of the life of Jesus Christ and His role as our Savior. It teaches who He was prior to His birth and His divine relationship to God the Father. And it teaches us what we need to do to partake of the Lord’s salvation in our lives. In short it is the first source given to man which teaches us how to remove and overcome the rust we let develop in our lives.
May you find peace and solace in the teachings regarding Jesus of Nazareth and His divine role as our Savior and Redeemer.
